A few ideas I've been working on.
Hi everyone!
Today is day-one on FTE for me, and I wanted to see who out there has been working at fun and unique mods for their F150's. I've had mine since May '07 and have been researching a few mods I'd like to do.
I got a quote on some custom interior lighting to be installed in the air vents and a couple to shine down on the center console area. I found the interior to be really dark at night, so I got the idea from my buddy's GTi to have overhead LED lights put in to cast a dim but effective light on the console area. The LED's in the vents are just for fun, but I think it will look cool. I got a quote from a shop in town of about 350.00 to do all of it.
Next I talked to an auto interiors shop in Oswego that said he could redo my headrests, and have them custom embroidered for about 300.00. I have a screw, so I thought that wasn't too bad for 4 headrests.
I'm working on the exhaust thing right now. I didn't think I was that picky, but I'm not sure what way to go. I had a Magnaflow on an Avalanche before getting my ford, and I liked it, but the Roush system sounds really good.
Just some thoughts, I figure, if I'm doing stuff like this maybe someone else has some ideas too.
Thanks!
