If Stock it is a 600 CFM Holley 4180. The 4180 was a smog carb that was built by Holley for Motorcraft. The tag on it is very important if you ever have to rebuild it. It contains a Motorcraft # NOT HOLLEY#.

Holly 4180 and Ford 5.8H.O carburetor

I am trying to figure out what type of carb I have on my
1986 Ford Bronco. 351 winsor with elec. choke. all stock original owner. Local ford dealer no help.

The list number I found is list 50264-1
and just below that number is 1606

I need to get a rebuilt kit, but not sure of the Holley Number.
Is this a 4180? If so will the 3-1346 holley kit work?

Another number at the top is ??5TE 9510 ZB

Thanks Bob

Bob, that is E5TE and that number (E5TE ZB) at a good parts store should get you a kit.

Remember first numbers...C=6, D=7 and E=8 (E5 is therefore 85).

Thanks Kenny

Since this is an 86 Bronco, I guess the carb was built in 85.
I am going to get the Holley rebuild kit and give it a try.
The carb has not been much trouble over the years, except it will not pass a gas station, about 10mpg around town.
