Boss 302 Heads
go to your local book store and buy Hemmings Motor News. this big book has everything in it for the restorer, all kind of hot rods for sale and etc.. they have all kinds of ford parts for sale. you might be able to find a nice pair for $$. also try Perogie Enterprises at 1-609-448-1684. they have several pairs of heads in stock some bare and some complete, check with them for prices. i don't have their e-mail address right off hand. Boss 302 Heads
The original (1969) Boss 302 head and the 351C 4BBL head are very similar and may even have the same casting number. They even had the same chamber volume. The only difference was the size of the intake valve 2.225 for the Boss and 2.19 for the standard 351C 4 BBL. ANd the 351C could be fitted with the larger valve.

Boss 302 Heads
Your basic difference between the Boss 302 and 351 4V heads is the water passage. On the boss head there in the intake Crossover area, and the 351 4V there in the Block area. You can use the 351 4V heads on the 302 but you have to block off the water passage for the block and drill a hole for the intake water passage.Or you can buy a set of Boss 302 heads which I have an extra 1970 set of.

A guy told me, when it was all said and done, you are performance ahead and cheaper to buy one of the new aluminum aftermarket heads for a 302. The special intake manifold for the cleveland swap is about 400.00 last time I checked. Then you have to hassle with special alt brackets and cleveland exhaust manifolds or headers.

Boss 302 Heads
Hey Guys,
You cannot change a regular 302 into a boss 302 by simply changing the heads. The boss 302 had 4-bolt mains and had a high nickel content in it. While the regular 302's are a dime a dozen, to find a true boss 302 is a wonderful find. I'd love to have my hands on those heads or the block.
