Barry have you looked on Crutchfield for some noise? My son in law recently got a Blaplunt cd/am/fm/mp3 in dash on sale for under $90 I think. Real nice unit.
This is what I just bought. I wanted Nav and a backup camera. I could care less about a DVD, but wanted CD and the ability to incorporate a IPod.
1st I went to Crutchfield to do my research. They have the best website to find out what will fit what.
Then I started price shopping. I did by the tool's and install kit from Crutchfield.
Pioneer AVIC-N3 The screen is motorized to fold away. The face can be taken off the unit. It's not installed yet.
