installing egr cooler upipe with block off plate
Well I had to put my truck back to stock right now ,as the weather here in so cal has been getting hot so has my truck yesterday it overheated on me
and of course my coolant was a gallon orr so low since I've been blowing it out my res so my next step is to get this http://discountpowerparts.com/catalo...oducts_id=2212
My question is can you do this without pulling the cab ,I've done the manifolds before on my previous truck but would like some input from those that have done this to there truck .

It's a little tight, but very easily accomplished without pulling the cab. Get yourself a 10mm and a 13mm ratcheting flex wrench also. Makes the job lots easer if you have a set of those to work on a 6.0L. Pulled the turbo and cleaned it while doing this, but it's not absolutely necessary to do. Spray all the exhaust pipe bolts with penetrating oil as long beforehand as you can stand not driving your truck.
