If it needed to be reset you would know. Your truck wouldn't run. If I remember right it pops out when its tripped.

2001 F150 Fuel Pump Inertia Switch

The truck does not run....

2001 Ford F150 v8 Auto Wont start but will crank?

I have replaced the fuel pump relays, the fuel filter and all fuses. I do not know how to check the Fuel Pump Inertia Switch but i have located it. I also know it might be the original fuel pump, but I am trying to get around that one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, the tank is full, and the truck was left under a carport for the past two days while it rained and was running fine before then.

Push the switch & try to crank the truck. I went out & looked at mine. Its on with the button all the way down. You could pull the fuel line at the filter & turn the key on to test the fuel pump. Be sure you put the line in a can to catch the fuel. You have to jar the truck real hard to set off the inertia switch. Are you sure you are getting fire?

The only way I know to check is to pull a coil & see if its firing. You could pull one of the coils & hold it near the block while you turn the motor over. It should spark. There must be a way to test it with a multi meter. Hopefully someone with more experience than me will post up a answer for you.

Will it start with a shot of ether (starting fluid)? If it will, then it's getting fire and not fuel. Just open the air intake at the filter, spray a shot of ether in and see if it will start. If it starts, I'm 99% sure it is a bad fuel pump. The reset switch is "rarely" a problem. Good Luck

On the drivers side of the vehicle in front on my 1999 F-150. Mine is big and round and I can't miss it. Yours may be square I'm not sure, never been under the hood on a 2001 model, but in any case, it is where your air filter is located. just open the air filter box and spray a shot of ether in there(about a half second burst) and try to crank it really quick. As I stated earlier, if it starts, it's getting fire and not fuel. I suspect the pump since you have changed everything else. Good Luck

If the bed bolts will come out fairly easy. I would lift the bed. You will need a couple of buddies to help you. just lift bed and move back enough to get to the top of tank. Be carefull of the wire harness for brake lights under rear bumper I just unplug them them you have no worries. 99% sure its your fuel pump myself. good luck....
