Is your 2007 susceptible to cross winds?
We recenly bought a 2007 EB 4X4 and have found that at highway speeds it does not like cross winds or vehicles passing us. When we tow our 25' travel
trailer or motorcycle trailer it is even worse.
We traded in out 2003 Expedition for the 2007 and are very impressed by the ride improvements, engine and transmission changes but this stability issue seems stange.
I have not seen any posts about this so perhaps there is something wrong with our vehicle?
Interested in anyone's feedback.

I have the Pirelli's and I don't notice this.
Now, this COULD just be an Urban Legend, but supposedly it is quite common for alignment to be off a good bit on new vehicles, and the dealer will do a re-alignment at no charge if you grumble about the vehicle's handling. Hmmm, just called the dealer, he said that's a myth, BUT, he also said there shouldn't be any handling issues (just under 3,000 miles on mine) this soon, and, he'll check it out.

Alignment - We had a 2003 EB and trashed a set of tires in 12k miles due to bad alignment. At 9000 miles the inside edges were worn and complained to the dealer. They checked the alignment and rotated the tires. We went on a 3k road trip and the fronts wore the insides again and all 4 tires were now very noisey. Took it back to the dealer who said "it's out of the 12 month, 12k mile adjustment period, you have to pay $150 for a check".
In the end we bought new tires and had the alignment check by Brakes Plus. They found it was out, adjusted it and we ran 40k miles with no issues.
As soon as we had this problem with the 2007 we went to the same Brakes Plus and they found that the alignment was out of spec but this has not fixed the wandering.

We took our EL on a 4,000 mile road trip from AZ to SD & WY (Mount Rushmore & Yellowstone) and had some 50 MPH head and side winds and felt very stable, even with the largest Yakima cargo box on top. Our last vehicle was a 1997 GMC Safari (Astro) so, after that, anything is stable. We loved our EL on our trip.

I bought 265/70/17 stock size, wish I would have gone up one size, but with the 07's being so tall already, my roofrack already scraps in some parking garages.
If i remember right, they were about 145 a tire installed, total with tax $582. Hell of a deal
