ya'll doin anything for the holiday? My family and I are headin to PC to do some fishin and grillin...I may take a cooler full of catfish fillets and fry'm up...

Either way, we just want to get away a little bit and hang out...But I'm afraid with my extremely well developed farmers tan, I might give myself away as a tourist... so I may be limited to goin to the beach only during thunderstorms...

We are only off on Wed/4th...So we're just going to sit outside and watch fireworks over the lake..

 

I have not thought about the fourth. Really depends on the money situation. If I don't do anything else I will atleast fire up the grill and crack open some cold ones.

 

That sounds like a plan to me! We will probably be down in the hunting club laid up on the sand bar under the pop up canopy enjoying the day off. I just wish it wasn't in the middle of the week.

 

Looks like I have to chill on the celebrating. I need to be at work on the 5th at 2:00am.

 

You have fun for me.Got to work and they canceled thee fireworks show here for the first time in at least 15 years.It was not because of the weather,but some dumb event scheduling. For those you that come to the Big Bang Boom!! at the Ga.National Fair Grounds,don,t was you time this year.

 

Thats a shame..I don't go up there, except for hunting shows...But it's strange they aint doing the fireworks this year..

 

I wouldnt doubt that they cancel alot of fire works this year as dry as it has been. I do some part time farming and wasted alot of money on seeds and fuel to plant them rascals. but that the chance you take when ya gamble with mother nature.

We suppose to do some fireworks tonight, and grillin of course.....headache in the morning anyone

Oh, I do have something fantastic planned for the weekend though. I got a phone call from an old buddy of mine. He is getting married (for the first time, he is 43) and having a great blow out on Saturday. I have not seem this group of people for 15 years. I can not wait!!!!
