Has anyone seen or heard (or have experience with) what the long term effects will be from running bio in a Power Stroke? Are there any corrosive effects, fouling, injector problems that one might experience on the horizon?

Maybe there are articles or case studies out there that someone could point me to?

Also, what about the behavior of bio in cold weather----gelling problems?


I'm really starting to get interested in running B20, as several additional filling stations locally have just received grants from the state to install tanks/pumps for B20 as well as E85, so I want to gather as much info as possible before it hits the streets-

Bios made from different plant matter will gel at diff temp, easy solution is your walmart antigel as a preventative.

 

My truck's a lab rat. I've been running B99 more often than not for the last six months or so. Nothing to report. Hoses haven't burst or left anything in the filters. I've probably driven 8-10,000 miles in that time.
