Appraisal info needed

Hi, I live outside Chicago and need an appraiser for the '81 truck so it can be registered as an antique (and have lower insurance rates), but haven't had any luck finding such a person. Do ya'll know of anyone in the business or have any suggestions? I did check Google, but all their results are car fanatics who didn't reply to emails. Thanks

I searched online for classic car appraisals near Chicago, and found a place called Classic Auto Appraisals in Addison, IL. Their phone number is (847)437-2500. They should be able to help you with an appraisal on your '81. I own three classic Ford pickups(73,77,and 79 F100 2wds), and I have antique/classic insurance on all three. I have mine insured thru State Farm, and they don't require an appraisal. They do, however, require that the vehicles are driven less than 2000 miles per year and that they are only used as collectors' items/show vehicles. Good luck with your '81, it's nice to know that there are other classic Ford truck enthusiasts here in IL.
