F150 wiper motor replacement

I have a 93 F150 and the wiper motor doesn't work at all on any speeds. Can anyone give instructions on how to replace? Thanks in advance.

You have to unbolt the trim piece behind the hood at the base of the windshield. The linkage and motor are under it.

you may have to loosen hood to get cowl panel off to work on motor linkage. If you have problem get at arm bolt. Then like Conanski said . Good luck

I changed my wiper motor on my 93 F150 a couple of weeks ago. It's somewhat easy to do, the hardest part was getting the linkage unhooked. Here are the general steps.
  1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
  2. Remove both wiper arm and blade assemblies.
  3. Remove cowl grille attaching screws and raise the grille slightly.
  4. Disconnect washer nozzle hose, then remove cowl grille assembly.
  5. Remove wiper linkage clip from motor output arm.
  6. Disconnect wiper motor electrical connector.
  7. Remove wiper motor attaching screws and the wiper motor.
  8. Reverse procedure to install.
It is a little tough getting the cowl grille out with the hood on, but just go slowly.(It might go easier with 2 people on that step.) Try not to beat or drop the new motor, there are ceramic parts in it that could break. A more detailed instruction can be found @ http://www.autozone.com, They have repair guides online now.
