Question 87 6.9- Is my lift pump bio-d compatable?

Will the diaphragm in my 87 6.9 hold up to long term bio-d use? I've been thinking of changing to an electric pump. I mostly run svo. Would I have to use two electric pumps or could I use one pump for bio-d and the lift pump for the svo? Would the lift pump be damaged while I was running the bio on electric and the lift pump was still pumping without fuel flow out.
Thanks, Mike

I had an '87 and I ran B80 through it no problem. I picked up a replacement lift pump for about $30 just in case from carquest. Never got around to swapping it out before selling it. good luck
