Good Repair shops?
I hae a 1996 F150 300 IL6 Cyl that recently borke.
It started overheating on the I-17 south bound just b4 the Loop 101. I managed to get it off the 7-th AVE exit on the 101 and into a parking lot.
After letting it cool off I tried restarting it to get it to a gas station for water and antifreeze. I started belching smoke out of the exhaust and some unburned oil as well.
Needless to say, I think it has bad piston rings or a blown head gasket. I managed to drive it onto a trailer to tow it away, so I know the engine is not seized. But I don't have the time or tools to do major engine repairs on it myself.
So could anyone sugest a good repair shop that is decently priced in the Mesa AZ area?
