F150 Seat Replacement
Hi Everyone,
I'm new to this forum and have found alot of great information here.
I just purchased a 1993 F150 2WD Reg Cab. It is an XL model and is in great shape.
I want to replace the bench seat with one from an XLT because I want to have the armrest.
Will the seat from a newer model fit right in or will modifications be needed?
Thanx in advance for any information on this.
Have a Great Day!

If you go newer that 1996 take careful measurements because the seats are wider and you will probably interfere with your door handles.
Finding seat in good condition is the trick. I adapted power leather buckets out of a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee and dropped a F250 console between them.
Did it all with an angle grinder, drill & hand tools by fabricating adaptor plates out of 1/4" aluminium plate. It can be done without welding.
Measure, measure and measure again.

I replaced my old bench with these, they have a good selection, prices aren't bad and are very comfy also gives you some extra storage as well

Did you replace that bench seat? I am looking for that seat in tan, if you still have it, I would love to talk to you about it.
