Since this forum seems kinda quiet, I'll entertain y'all asking questions about the area, since I don't live there yet. One of my favorite pastimes is to go to U-Pull-It type yards looking for parts, both new and old. Are there any yards like that in the Greenville area? We have a number of them here in FL, although the pickin's are gettin' slim. They have crews that 'pre-pull' a lot of good stuff. I think they sell it on Ebay or something. Also, they punch holes in all the oil pans, tranny pans, and gas tanks to drain 'em. Arrrggghhh! Once I re-locate, I'll have a lot more room to pursue the old truck hobby, so I hope I can find parts!

There is one on highway 135 just outside city limits of Easley, it will be on your right as you head out of Easley toward Pumpkintown. Lot of old Ford F100-F350 parts.
Closest one to Charleston that I know of is in Holly Hill......not real big though and I haven't been up there in a long while. Last time was for seats for my 77 chebby truck project. Can't remember the name......he's about a half mile out of town headed for Eutawville.
Verb or Verge Temple in Batesburg has some 53-56 and other old trucks; about 9 months ago he had a complete 53 or 54 utility truck minus engine he wanted $1200 for. Other than that I haven't found any others.
