Camping anyone!

Who or How many of my fellow WV FTE friends camp and/or have an RV?
If you do, here is and idea to spend a weekend (or week) at some camp ground somewhere around the state. We could have a good time and meet for more than a few hours!

80 Pinto 2.3! I had a 76 that I ran the dog-S out of for 10 years. I would like to find a good body and put one back on the road.

Well the first weekend in August would sound good! I dont have any trips scheduled that month.

I have a boat (2 years now) never had it in the water.

Use the camper about every month and meet alot of great people!

I do like to fish from a boat! Fished Blurstone a few times.

Ever hear of aluminum corrosion?

That is aluminum dry rotting into aluminum oxide.
Metal turns white and brittle with blisters on it.

The Society “FOR” Protective Coatings (SSPC)? Is that like buildings, wood, trees, fences, and other things are lying around naked and scaring old ladies or AAA meetings!

When I worked at a metal alloy plant some time back in plant protection. One week I greeted and signed the visitors in and escorted them to their destination. A group came in “The Society For Non-Destructive Testing”. I about died laughing when I read the name of the group.

What is someone going to stick something in somewhere in a piece of metal that they should not like popping the neighbors dog or making saw marks on the metal with a hacksaw like whip stripes on a horse? Will the Metal police (NDT) get me like the ASPC?

Hmmm, that's a new group on me. I've met a lot of NDI guys but they've never mentioned the Society for Non-Destructive Testing.

I wondered it they were going to make sure we did not drowned a tube or rod in our under water ultra-sound tank. The tank is 90’ long, 2’ wide and 3’ deep. Thought they might think we were leaving the rod in too long and killing it like a sack of cat in the river!
