I guess.....

The little reminder popped up the other day and said it's been two weeks since I've posted. I can't stand looking at it.....does it bother anyone else in here or am I weird?

On a more normal note.......I will be dropping the 390 back in blue this week!!!!

If you wait another couple weeks to post, a big ugly dude driving a chevy shows up at your house to rough you up a bit.....

Wow, sounds like you've been busy on the old truck.

Well I'm not afraid of some big ugly dude driving a chebbie.....I deal with them everday at school!!! Fortunately (or not) I'm bigger and uglier so I win everytime.

Yea, I've been a little busy with it finally. I have a few new parts to put on too. There's a few pics in my gallery.

Hey Jake, good to see you got her back together. If the chebby guy shows up at my place, he'll get "SuperDutied"!! I need to get my '67 home, and get the tranny input shaft fixed. I may sell her after that.

That cargo box you found looks great new. Those are real hard to find in these parts. Looks like blue is pretty solid to begin with. Did you ever find a 4bbl intake and carb, or did you stick with the 2bbl?

Yea, I still feel like I stole that box. $250 in that good of shape on a FARM sale (of all places to find something that nice). There was another one there that was just the box. I watched it go for $10 after I already "won" the trailer. I didn't feel too bad though because that other one needed alot more work than this one does. Now I just need to find the time to get it fixed up and put on!!!!

I found an "S-code" 4bbl intake for in and got a Holley 750 cfm double pumper to top it off. Here's my build:

360 flat top pistons
Comp 280H cam
Polished C8 heads
Headers
750 cfm Holley

All in all it should run pretty good. I was hoping to get it in today and running by thursday so I can cruise with it over Easter break, but it won't be running until next week now.....
