Hi.i have a few questions about the 477/534 engines. I have a 76 f 600 crew cab ramp truck with a 370-2v a 4 speed trans a single speed rear. the motor is on its death bed and im looking to replace it. I found a 72 or 74 F800 dump trk with a 477-534. 5 speed with a two speed rear end. i plan on using the entire drive line but my question is the engine. are they any good?what options would anyone recommend. thanxs

This should be a no-brainer. Ford discontinuted the 477/ 534 for very good reasons. They were good in their day, but that day has long gone......
