Question water vs coolant in 6.0

Would it run colder with water or should I stick with coolant ,
I know the reason my coolant is boiling ,the egr cooler, but until I put on a egr delete up pipe my engine is going to run hot .
So i'm thinking about just running water with water wetter ,but if the stock coolant is still good after boiling I'll stay with it.

You need to switch to Evans waterless coolant, much better than standard antifreeze and also better than water.

Hope this helps

Water by itself has a lower boiling point than a 50/50 water/coolant. You'll have more overheating problems as well as other issues with straight water.
