Hi every one. I am new to the forum and live in the Rome Floyd county area. Are there any local cruise nights or local events going on? Some of the car clubs from the late 80s are not around anymore and I have not been involved in the cruise night and car club activities for some time now.

Welcome! Haven't been up that way since we quit racin. I kinda miss it, that was my favorite track- rome, 1/2 mile dirt oval on the side of a mountain, mmmmmmm fun!!!

 

I am on the ambulance out there just about every time they run. We have had the race track contract for about 4 years now and I have only missed 2 races out there over the last 4 years. Looking forward to this years races to start. The best part of my job is getting in places for free, getting paid to be there and running lights and sirens, LOL.

 

hi, from Murray county, there is normally a cruise in @ downtown dalton every 2nd or 4th saturday of month . one is for cars and one is for bikes. i'll post back when i know for sure which is which.
