Fellow FTE supporter looking for some info

Tom from MN here,
My wife and I were looking to take a week trip hopefully to your wonderful state. We are looking at the 3rd week in April and were wondering where is a good place to fly into. Also at that time is there still the possibilty to rent snowmobiles, wife would love to dogsled, snowshoe, great sites ect????? If you give us some suggestions it would be awesome. Thanks in advance for any and all info. Tom

Hello Tom, I saw your post and thought I'd pass on a little info to you. First I'd suggest flying into Anchorage (ANC). Several major carriers come into here. But you should be able to get someone like Delta, Contiental, Alaska Air, or even American.
I did a search for some activities and cam up with a couple leads for you. First for snow machine tours and rentals here's a link:
http://www.snowmobile-alaska.com/snowmobile-rentals.htm
For dog sled tours and a bed & breakfast her's a link
http://www.alaska.net/~mush/dogmush/dogmush.html
Other winter activities
http://www.anchorage.net/629.cfm
http://www.alaskavisit.com/matsu-winter-activities.html
I might suggest a search like google for additional info, but search for topics like
- dog sled tours in Wasilla, Alaska
- snow machine tours and rental in Wasilla, Alaska
-Anchorage, Alaska winter activities
-Wasilla, Alaska winter activities
Hope this helps you out some. Feel free to come back and ask more questions. I'll be glad to help. Enjoy your visit.

What type of snowmaching are we talking? We have some excellent riding here. Wish I knew of Mike Buck's business name....

2nd question is how long are you here???? Hill climb going on in April in Valdez along with snow X racing. Great spring riding to be had up till June.
