Karma smiles...

Rather, she laughs her *** off!!

Well, I got woke up this afternoon to be told that the garage had collapsed. All that snow plus the rain we got was far too much for it to handle. I knew it was in bad shape when I rolled the BII and Ranger in there. Both trucks were free, I knew the roof was in sad shape and I doubt the landlord has any insirance so I'm not even going to bother recouping anything on it.

Besides, the worst of the damage was a bent prop rod on the BII; a bent prop rod?? WTF am I going to worry about? I want to move the tailgate hinges to the side and build in a spare tire mount. I'll be using the lift cylinders on the hood now for no other reasons than I bent the prop rod and I think it's a trick thing. I suppose karma was smiling on me today.

And now for the pics...

I'll post pics of the trucks when I yank them out tomorrow. :-/

Right now it has the rinky-dink I-6 and whatever A/T goes with that. I have a 428 that supposedly came out of a KR mustang (I don't know if that's true or not) that's sitting in a crate waiting to be built and put in the car. Looking at the block, it has all the reinforcing ribs and looks pretty strong. Can't wait to set up shop at my new place and start wrenching on it!

Trade you a 302 bare block and Bocket O' Parts for that slant six, I say with a straight face.

Well, it's down and the trucks are out. Pics? Sure.

She wouldn't budge so I decided to convince her

Wall's down. What's next?

Bouncing on the roof to cave her in

Much fun and many beers were had on Saturday. When she's completely down, I'll get some pics of it.
