durango smacked my V10 around
The racers:
my F350 ext cab 4x, V10 3.73 gears, salt spreader in the bed of the truck 7800lbs running weight at the time with empty spreader and myself and buddy
'0? durango, later found out it was the R/T packaged with the hopped 360 and 3.90 gears, and he had 4 guys in his truck.
2 sets of stop lights running to 50mph and the durango just walked on by, actually the first "race" I just went up in smoke and he walked away uncontested. The second race I just romped from an idle and did what I had to with the gas pedal, it was closer but the dodge once again left me in the dust.
then later that evening I was dropping people off and I had to gete redemption, got stoplighted with a buick la saber, I got handed my **** again LOL!!! never had a need to "test" my work truck, but all the guys with me bracket race too so the lil spat was bound to happen.
poor ole V10 needs some gears now I guess
FWIW, I dont condone street racing. I've bracket/drag raced for many years on the track and have common sense enough to pick a location to screw off in that will affect nobody other than us should something happen.

Either way I'm getting gears put in. I'm still amazed as were the guys that drive my truck for work at how this thing literally acts nodifferent when I have 3000lbs of salt in the bed and a 900lb plow hanging off the nose as it does truck by itself....I prefer the ride quality when I'm 11K as opposed to whatever this thig weighs empty. No jarring/shaking my fillings loose on every little bump
