Well the merc isnt technically mine yet, still trying to determine what a fair price is!

 

i was looking at a 49 a couple summers ago, complete, never really got into crawling under it to look for rust, but all around the bottom looked good. it was complete, the motor spun free. but no paperwork, and they wanted $2000 for it. originally from Saskatchewan too! but ive talked to a few brokers and theyve said they could get me one for $1500 in rust free complete shape.

personally, if its rust free and has paperwork, its worth gold man!!! but then again im starting to get anxious. only thing ive worked on in months is a tractor bucket

 

Well if you dont find the cash or whatever to get it for 1500 let me know, ill buy it up in a snap!

 

i should try and get the guy's number, he was actually in yarrow. lived across from my uncle. he had some damn nice v-dubs up on blocks in his storage barn
