Anybody floating yet?

Man I wish this rain would end. We asked for it, but it can go away anytime now. I poured 4 3/4 inches out of the rain guage yesterday and looks to have about 2 1/2 in it now. There won't be any need for me to wash my service truck for some time now, I'll be "playing" in the mud for weeks as I work on logging equipment.
Hope eveybody is staying dry.

We're trying too, dad and I are trying to put up a 40X60 building for a cust.up on the side of a hill we didn't get to start the job till last monday and we just got most of the dirt work done before the rain. We went up there today just to look man I am glad my new truck is 4x4 it's a muddy mess up there. Hopefully we can level and form up the pad this week but I don't believe we will get the concrete poured I think it's going to be to cold.

My creek is about 2 1/2 feet over the driveway. When wifeypoo got home yesterday the water was above the headlights on her Windstar. It was level to the top of the bumper on my truck....

Glad it finally let up some today, hope the roads dry up before it freezes tonight.

We've got some sleet falling now, hope it goes away soon. I don't want to see any form of ice, but we are due for a tough winter. We've had more cold days and more rain this winter than the last 2 together so far, so nothing will surprise me.
