Front leather buckets
I have a 2007 EL Limited with 8000 miles on it and both front seats are wearing already as you roll out of the Truck , I could tell this was going to happen after about a month. Not enough coushin on the seat where it meets the plastic moulding. The seats are plenty comfortable but I can see this being a problem down the road.
Also has anyone noticed that the heated seat mainly heats your back and not so much your bottom?

Personally I would just rather have the faux-leather that is used on the second and third row seats. It appears that the material is much more durable and would show less wear over the "Leather-Appointed" front seats in which the only surfaces that have leather on them are the seat back and bottom.
Not too sure about the heated seats though. Haven't really had a chance to use them yet.

Mine are still new, and based on the way I started to get in and out, I realized that this would heavily wear the seats. I now get in and out using the A-pillar grab handle and take some load off the seat before turning to get out. I think that this will help.
My '93 Club Wagon suffered this, too, but it took 111K miles and 14 years to get down to the foam.
Bottom line: stop sliding out and instead, step out of the vehicle.

I have been doing the same thing as the handle makes things easier BUT I am still showing some wear and I have 2700 and some change on her. Side note I have been complaining about the gas milage but I have taken 2 trips in 4 days and the best was 19.1 and worest was 17.2. I think she does great on the highway.

My last truck, a 05 F-150 King Ranch had heated seats and you could not take the highest setting more than 10 minutes.
