Ford trucks save lives Yup it goes to show Built Ford Tough. Good thing it wasnt a Dodge definitly would have been morecasualties. Another reason to have a Ford truck. You might have a chance an others you wont.

You guys make it sound like Ford uses some kind of super strength materials in their trucks. They're not armored or anything. A Chevy or Dodge would've done the same job.

God Bless Ford. The dodge would have broken down with transmision problems and the Chevy would have rattled apart.
Either way it's impressive and i'm glad it saved the lives of a few of our service men

Any truck could do that, do you really think Ford designs their trucks with warfare in mind? They are not in the best financial situation, there are much better things that they have to spend their money on. I hope this doesn't degenerate into Ford vs Toyota, but whenever I turn on the news and see people piling into a truck in the middle east or Africa, it's often a Toyota, Nissan, or Mitsubishi. The UN are apparently fans of the Nissan Patrol for peacekeeping and warzone activity.

WTF??
Seriously wtf. Ford does not sell trucks in the middle east like toy. toy is more global than ford. The article wasnt' about what toy and nissan did. it was about how the Superduty an AMERICAN TRUCK carried AMERICAN TROOPS to and from the battlefield. it is still impressive anyway you look at. I AM NOT impressed because some Nissan carried 8 people in the bed hell thats probably less than 1000 POUNDS my escort could probably do that ( i know cause i have pulled a traler with it ruffly 600 pounds). i guarantee that the could probably care less about the brand of truck. and more concerned with price to operate/ fuel cost replacement parts repairs etc. which would automatically count a superduty out added maintence cost fuel and and another thing SIZE would definatly play apart. some dont come with the crap toyota are so good and reliable. cause ill bet you it aint got nothing to do with why they use em' over there.

and another thing ALL of our police forces hospitals firedepartmens etc. use the Crown vic does that mean that its the best? no it means that it was cheaper won the bid and has widely availabe parts.and a lower operating costs
