rumbling sound at low speed

My truck 2001 F-250 V-10 manual 4x4 auto trans, has been making a loud rumbling sound at speeds of 20mph and less. Its been doing it for around a year now and I cant say that its really getting any worse or affecting the way it drives.
Anybody know what this might be from?

Where is the noise coming from? Does it vary with engine speed or with truck speed?

My first reaction would be tire noise amplified by the resonance of the truck but hard to say without more information.

It sounds like its coming from the front end, it varies with truck speed not engine speed.

Also which I forgot to mention is both front tires(285/75/16 goodyear mtr) are wearing fast only on the insides.

Then yes, it is tire noise.

Get an alignment and rotate the tires, see if that doesn't help.

Might want to check the hub bearings.I had mine go bad and it made a rumbling sound. Jack up the front end and see if there is any play in the wheel.
