Will the Ford Taurus return?

I highly doubt it in the short to medium turn?

As well Ford ought to consider bringing the T-Bird back, but not price it out of the market like they did last time around. Here where I live I see many more 90 something T-Bird's and Cougar's running around than I do the monte, 90's to 06 combined. I expect to see the same from the Taurus'. Our 93 has been a great car and still gets around 32mpg hwy has never lived in a garage and still looks great.

She has the 3.8L, and at around 100k I changed the oem head gaskets for fear of them failing like so many did/do. Other than that and some of the usual front end work she's been very reliable and going strong. Even has the original exhaust!

I'll bet the name will come back in another ten years or so. But if it comes back as another front-wheel drive 4 banger sedan, they might as well call it the [edited: BigF350].
