I saw something BEAUTIFUL on the way to work this morning!

I was just heading down Ray Bluff road, about a quarter mile in. A deer ran acrost the road - followed by about eight or nine others - they were just BOILIN' out of the woods right there... There was an oncoming truck stopped too, and when they all petered out I inched G-1 forward and looked off to the right where they all come from -

A BIG OL' German Sheapard came out of the scrub brush and looked at the stopped traffic, looked up over the roadway, and kept on runnin' after the whole mess of them....

I don't know whose dog that was, but that right there is one helluvva dang fine dog!!!

We have deer all over the place where I live. Some are actually quite aggressive I have been told. We have an apple tree out behind the shed that becomes quite popular when the apples start to hit the ground. Sometimes 4 or 5 deer out behind the shed. Always try to make some noise when going to my truck so I don't end up getting wrecked once they hear me. One cool site is seeing a moma with a couple spotted fawns just outside the fence.

I have a friend going all the way to Camden, TN to hunt. I hope he sees something. It would be a tragedy to go all that way with deer running amuck here.

I saw 4 deer in Collierville yesterday. I had to stop while they crossed the road. I see more deer in town than I do when I hunt

You should see the deer, wild hogs, black bears, we get to see (watch out for) up in the coal mines of West Virginia. They are protected, no hunting.

I was taking my son to a friends house today and we saw a doe at Germantown Parkway and Brother Blvd. in Bartlett.

The friend that took his daughter hunting this weekend got a deer. She shot what would have been a 6 point had it had both antlers! This was her 1st hunt!!
