Hope you guys are ok down there, and not another repeat of June. Declaring a "state of emergency" is not a good thing. We got about 3" around Trumansburg but, no major flooding. Best of Luck

hey we got railed! the rivers didnt go as high but the rain caused more problems I think than last time.. huge mudslides all over the place, houses that didnt get flooded last time did because all the streams and creeks were already full of rocks and crap..the local weather station recorded 4.5-5 inches of rain in 2 hrs. there is a lot of clean up to do all the way from broome county to chenango county. I know the chenango river went way over its banks and oxford, greene, and norwich got hit real bad. at least I found out my 97 F250LD can go through a crap load of water and not die like alot of chevys did!

Thanks for the concern. I made out with no problems this time - just lost a bunch of sleep worrying about it. A couple of friends that live in the hills had some problems with runoff in the lower level of thier split entry houses. Another got 8" in his basement when a city street turned into a river after a bridge got clogged and overspilled it's banks.

xcquad466 - I'm right over the river from you in Conklin (when you're in your second home), maybe we can meet up sometime? Also, get those front hubs cleaned out and lubed. Let me know if you want a hand, I've got all the tools and wouldn't mind helping you get it done. My phone number can be found in my gallery.

BTW - I still keep an eye on the board here, and kinda miss you all. It's just a very busy time for me.

xcquad466, hope you are alright. Let us know if you need help with anything. Some of us might be able to swing by and give you a hand if you need anything.

Barr, I was about to PM you if you did not post up. Glad to hear that you made out fine this time. I hope we can G2G again. Do you think you might be able to make the Letchworth G2G? I know you will be in plow season so it will depend on how things go with the weather. Just post up when you can. Miss having you on the boards!!!

Darren, I would come to Letchworth but won't pick the date. If I'm not too busy then and we don't get bad weather that need's to be taken care off , I'll be there. All projects should be done by December 1st; although the wife will probably start dragging me around like a dog to shop (she does this every year around this time).

Barr - post up in the Letchworth G2G thread on your thoughts for the event. We have a tentative date of March 25th as the holidays are too out of control for everyone. Hope you can make it!!!

I'm all good in both places.. I live in norwich now, but my parents still live in kirkwood up on the mountain... I lived there for 23 years. I love it down here.

In other news still tryin my butt off to get into a town, county, or state DOT job. I love that kind of work. Plus I worked hard for my CDL B.

My 2 of my center caps fell off of my truck the other day while I was going down the road.. they are all broke plus I'd rather try to get some aftermarket rims for my truck but what a pain in the butt that is! well enjoy for now!

xcquad466 - glad to hear that you are alright. I wish you luck in getting your job. Hope that comes through for you. As for new wheels for your F-250 I wouldn't think it would be that much of a pain. Your truck has a very general lug pattern so there are several wheels out there for you unlike the metric pattern on my SD.

my problem with my rims is I have 7 lug which is a pain. Well I think I just dont have good luck. I hit a deer thanksgiving night on rt 12. took out my grille, bumper, headlight, tire, left front fender, etc... still drivable though..thank god the airbags never went off. I'll get picks later. BTerry I sent you a pm!

Oh, I forgot you have the LD 250 with the 7 lug pattern. I have never researched your truck so I can't be of help to you there. Maybe someone else in the chapter might be able to help you. Sorry to hear of your accident with the deer. I have been worried about my SD since it became my DD as the front bumper is paper thin and won't protect the truck the way the grill guard did on my Range Rover.
