Post 57-60 floor pans

Has anyone installed the 57-60 floor pans from classic fabrication?
I am to that point and am interested in the quality, size and fit
of these pans?

Yes I have they were made of hevy steel they were flatened out you will loose the hump behind the gas pedel witch works fine. You could almost make them your self but they fit realy well take a lot of thinking out of it.I just put front in and the step.If you are doing the same if you cut the step and the floor the cab will pull apart.I used a turn buckle to pull it back together and checked the alinment buy opening and closing the door.

Thanks for the reply. Did they have any of the recessed stamping in them or were they just a completely flat piece of metal shaped to
fit? Were they just the front part of the floor or did they go
all the way to the back of the cab?

Their was no stamping they roled 3 creases in the middle for streanth. It was a flat peace of steel and was bent to go over the center brace and that is were it stoped. He did sell the back part as well I didn't get that part. The front cab mount was welded together like a tapered box.I did see in one of these books of aftermarket parts they are making all of it.I don't know if it was him or someone else making the parts.I will look into it.If you like I can send some pictures of it.

57-60 floor pans

Hi guys, what timing, I just received front floor pans and front cab braces today, from Classic Fabrication they look like they will work just fine, a lot of my rust damage is really in the "toe kick" section which these peices do not cover. I noticed in the latest LMC catalog they are now offering more sheet metal for these trucks, however the price is better with classic fabrication.
Anyone have any experience with the "toe kicks" any suggestions would be appreciated. I've got a local body shop who will cut out the old and put in the new, they want to get about $400.00 for the labor, does that seem reasonable?
thanks
Brian

Yes, I would very much like to have pictures. My email is
brewster@neto.com. I will probably make these myself since
the classics are not identical to the stock ones.
Brian, on the toekicks, the body shop probably has old
sheetmetal they have removed from newer cars (truck bedsides
work good) that they can cut these out of since they are mostly flat.
thanks,
jt

How about posting the pictures here in your gallery? Every 57 to 60 truck I've seen needs the cab mounts replaced (at least up here in B.C.).

Has anyone used the 1957-60 floor pans and cab supports from Blue Oval Truck Parts? I know the front cab support looks correct.
