SC laws regarding car shows/swap meets?

Hey guys,

I live just next door in NC, but will be travelling to a car show next month in SC. One of the questions that arose was the legality of a swap meet. Surely when you have a big car show people always have things to sell here and there. I was wondering if anyone knew what the legal-ese was behind these sales. Do you have to get a permit or something? I'm thinking about bringing a few parts of my own but I'd rather not if there are some peculiar and/or stringent laws against it.

Thanks,

Bryan

ive never heard of any prohibiting them but that doesnt mean they dont exist. sounds like its along the lines of some of the blue laws and whether the local pd has a hair up their rear that day or not.

I'm with 4Cammer here... I'm sure they (the local PD) wouldn't care if it was a few swaps, purchases and exchanges

But i'm sure a flag would go up if you turned it into a "sales only" type thing.
