L.A. West customs , whos got one??????
Looking around this board I havent really found anyone with one.
Maybe i didn't probe deep enough....
Anyway I've got a 2000 f150 xl , 5.4, 4x4 L.A. West custom and want to compare the package i got to anyone else. I know they make the Boss series truck there but was wondering about my year.
When i bought the truck i saw the stitching on the seats and logo on hood deflector but didnt really pay it much mind. I just thought who ever had this truck just did a lot of aftermarket work to it (Full ground effects kit, steel cobra hood, custom leather interior, dual exhaust.... ) not till i finally saw the sticker on the door stating a custom job from L.A. west along with a serial #.
I call them up and they state there records are fuzzy on my truck but what i mentioned is standard mods for the time at about $4500 extra before it comes off the showroom floor. Also mentioned the 22 inch rims and spinners, lambo doors, and what i think is called a visor (goes over front windshield) and they state the rims and visor might also have come from them for more money but could not confirm it. Lambo doors was not an option from them.
Well like i said just want to compare mine with others if possible.
Thanks for looking.

Looking
I found mine in a barn in Illinois, had not been started for 14 months. Turned on the light's to heat up the batteries and it fired off immediately. It has been barned all it's life. No rust, never wrecked, in great shape. Only 106,587 miles on a 7.3 PS Turbo. I work for FORD so getting it worked on is no problem. I am needing a new front bumper since it is damaged around the fog lights, having trouble finding the style the truck has. I will attach a photo later of the damage. Built in CB, TV, Bed, Accent lighting, Custom wood accents and console. Very nice truck.
