06 F250 horn location

O.K. guys, I searched the threads about adding horns, but I just had to buy a big truck electic horn to replace existing. My problem is that I can't find the existing horn to rewire into my replacement. Any help would be appreciated. Guess I should have popped the hood before buying the horns. Thanks.

You can tap into the factory horn wire behind the fuse box. Use a multimeter to check the wire. On an 04 it is "Yellow with Green Tracer"

If I were you I would put a SPDT mini toggle under your steering column that will allow you to switch between your factory horn and your new electric ones. The position of the switch will determine which horn is sounded when you push the horn button in your steering wheel.

Thanks guys. I will have to look at which is easier, I think going into the fuse box might be easier and more room to mount the horns on that side. Like I said, I should have looked before I leapt since my F250 is brand new (bought it last month) I didn't worry about modifying my 96 F150 that I sold to buy the 250. Pistol Pete, I bought the twin horns on this link. But my new truck doesn't have as much room as I had thought for mounting them.

here is the one I just bought. Bolts in place of factory and reuses the same wires and mounting, thats why I chose this one. Just got it in, havent had time to install yet.
