I've been to all the armpits of the world when I was in the Army but I always wanted to come back to the NC mountains.

Hendersonville/Fletcher here. Just put in a request to join this chapter. Spent two years in Austin(hell) Texas after living in Arkansas all my life. I'm a flatlander too, and the mountains are definitely different. Love this cool weather (at least compared to Austin and Little Rock). I've been on FTE for a couple of years and frequent the diesel performance forums also. Huntin a job has been tough here and something to do.......suggestions?

Jobs are hard to find in the Mountains and Foothills we Lived in the Foothills for almost 3 years and my wife couldn't find a job,so we had to move east closer to Charlotte so she can start her job hunt.

I moved here with my wife's job--she doesn't have that problem thank goodness. I've got a couple of things going. Not what I want, but then that's the way it goes. Just glad I've got ANY possibilities at this moment the way jobs are gonna get.
