Propane coming down in price

I've been noticing that the price at the pumps has been coming down slowly over the last few months; it's now at or below what I was paying 2 years ago. I wonder what's up with that... If it gets any cheaper I may have to resurrect the beast this winter... probably be cheaper than the dakota.

So, what are you paying for propane?

I live in the Niagara Falls, ON area and I've been buying propane motor fuel for 59.7¢/L ($2.26/USGallon). A few weeks ago, I was in Toronto and the going price there was 49.9¢/L ($1.89/USG). Not a bad price for 104 octane fuel.

The last price I actually saw was 48.9C/L but I know of a place that's usually 1 - 2 cents cheaper than that place. Also, in Canada, the CO-OP food/gas chain stores are usually around 8 - 10 cents higher than the cheapest places, unless they are right across the street from a cheaper place.

It's down to $0.469/liter, Two stations in close proximity. Shell in the 1800 - 1900 area of 52 St. S.E. and the other just south on the other side of the street. CO-OP price.... $0.639/liter. Gougers!, Every time I was forced to buy propane at CO-OP, I noticed that my 80 liter max liquid capacity tanks would always take 85 to 90 liters. In the two years I drove the truck, CO-OP was the only place this happened. I reported them to Weights and Measures but I never heard anything about it.
