Here is an IDEA!!!
I was wondering if it would be ok to really filter some motor/hydraulic/transmission oil and mix it with condensate. I know our trucks will burn condensate by itself, but the lubricity isnt there. Can anyone chime in on this idea? Condensate is at $2/gallon now and used oil is plentiful.

If you want to use VO (new or waste) there is a right way and a wrong way.
Blending it with any petroleum product or by-product is not a good idea because the two will seperate, VO has a much higher molecular weight than almost all petro products. The exception would be grease and 90 wt gear oil.
VO is a suitable fuel. If you intend to use WVO it will be free, or nearly so.
Spend the bucks to do it right and avoid the potential problems.

Personally I would not put 1% WMV in MY truck. Not worth the risk.

I'm with Fab & Phy why take the risk to save a few bucks on a 30K dollar or more truck............................................. ............................................. I did take the plunge & bought a Biodiesel solutions unit and am making bio out of waste vegi oil. Will take me around 1600 gals to pay the unit off but at least I am not sending a dollar to the middel east for the last four months.......
