good ole southern welcome

I met one of my new neighbors today, just not in the way i would have liked to. since weve been here 2 weeks and then some, weve met one neighbor, and that was because he was outside puting his trash can out and we drove by and asked when they picke up trash and whanot. well i decided that the 450 needed the oil changed, i figured the noise of warming it up wouldnt bug anybody, one neighbor was cutting trees down with a chainsaw, the other was outside mowing his lawn and weedeating. so i drive it around the yard 2 times, pulled into the garage and idled it. changed it and all was good. went down to check the mail, neighbor comes over and was whining and complaing about my noise that woke his baby up and all that. never caught his name, but i dont think itll matter as i dont have a feeling we'll be talking often. well so much for that good ole souther hospitality i heard so much of, least not in my neighborhood. (rant mode off) anybody wanna have a pool party? just had to ven

i know what you mean, i come in sometimes from a trip in the wee hours of the morning with the big rig ( freightliner fld w/470 detriot and 4 inch striaght pipe) , but the good thing about it is i live half a mile from the foot of mountian, and most of the neighbors have more to worry about than my truck.

Thanks for wondering. Yeah, things are getting better, meeting lots of people down here, got a job and relationships with the neighbors are going good. Thanks for asking.
