Freedom of speech signs near Pittsburg

The owner of a resturaunt in North Versailles near Pittsburg has been practicing his right to freedom of speech...

can anybody here from the pittsburg area verify these signs? seems legit to me. I thought it was funny because the newest sign is about when in philly ordering your cheesesteak in english. im from philly and it has been a big controversy for a few weeks.

Hey 78,
Like Matt asked, could you verify if these signs are legit. While i don't necesserily agree with bigoted or racisist remarks born out of ignorance. I absolutley agree with an individuals right to freedom of expression. Open honest rhetoric, whether we agree or not is usually the first step to a solution. This is a great country and we need to shake the complacency of some or we wind up an apathetic, PC dominated society that could cease to exist as we know it if we are not vigilant.

Talking

hey, hey Pa'ers. i can't say for sure if the signs are legit or not i'll have to ask the guy from work who sent the site to me. he's closer to that area. but i seem to remember something on the pittsburgh news about this place a while back. i'll let you know if i find out for sure. i don't know about all the other stuff you said, but some of those signs were funny

Yes some of them where funny, the rest of what i said was a little bit of soapbox, tend to get a little opinionated at times. There was a lot of truth in his humor. I hope he keeps it up.

My friends and i go down to philadelphia often and we have been to Genos many times. The sign is there and i say good job. The thing that bothers me about it is the fact that when our ancestors came to the country they made it a priority to learn english out of respect for the country that is giving them the freedoms they want and now we have all these people that in my opinion want our freedoms but don't want to be an "american"....thats wrong.....Like all the protests then all you see is a sea of mexican flags flying.....that sure doesn't send the message that you want to be an american to me....???

I like he spoke his mind and is standing behind it, doesn't hurt all the publicity he's getting. Personally i'm not a fan of either Geno's or Pat's, but at three in the morning and a lot of hooch they taste great.

I saw some of them on the link Matt(96P_stroke4X4)posted at the beginning of the thread. Would like to see more when you post them. More guys from your area became members of the chapter, getting enough up there to have mini GTG's.

Hey now, you can't go planning events at Hooters without yours truly, haha. Having a Pittsburgh mini-meet sounds great to me, as I can't really get out of town much due to college/work.
