Is it possible to make a setup for precessing your used fryer oil on board your truck? Surely a person could set up some kind of system where the raw oil went into an upper tank, and it gravity fed to a lower tank through a filter? Even if it wasn't gravity fed, a person could set up some kind of electric pump.
Does anyone have a setup like this, or is everyone doing the filtering in thier garage?
Reason I'm asking, is a setup like that would work well for someone who was going on a very long road trip.

The issue with onboard procesing is time. The longer the WVO sits the more water drops out. Driving would make it harder to remove any water.

The only good thing is you have a good source of heat.

 

I'd guess the sloshing while driving wouldn't help any either. How long would it need to sit to separate out a reasonable amount of water? if you had it heating while you drove, and then just let it separate while you parked for the night, would that be long enough?
