The discussions on low cost WVO and Biodiesel seem to make adding a WVO or bio D tank an attractive option and I've been considering installing a propane system to gain extra power for the hills.
1. Can propane injection be used with biodiesel or WVO and, if so, will it provide the same results as adding it to #2 diesel?
2. Can a person expect lower fuel costs for the same power output with propane injection or will the added cost of the propane offset the gains from the improved combustion of the #2 diesel or other primary fuel?

I did some experiments but not long enough to document the results yet.
What I found is running very low propane pressure, but also setting it to come on at very light throttle application does increase the MPG enough to I believe at this point come out in the black on the cost of the propane.
Downside is unless you have a second higher pressure setup to kick in at heavy throttle application you don't have the power increase wihtout stopping and resetting the reguator.
Two solenoid switches, two valves and two regulators would be the only way to have both. Probably need two arming switches as well, but I guess it could be set to both work together.

Thanks for the ideas.
My primary interest is in increased power output and since it takes money to climb a hill anyway spending a little more to climb faster sounds good to me but gaining some of it back on the flats would feel good.
Do you know the size and number of orifices in the nozzle and the psi reading when you have the regulator set for very low pressure and for high pressure?
