body shop for a classic (LI)

does anybody know a good body shop on long island that has experience working on older cars and trucks? i have a 1966 f-250 8' stepside. i don't need it to look like chip foose built it, or a show winner, i just want it to be a good looking, solid truck. but i am still very nervous about other people working on my truck. i'm considering doing the bed myself to keep the cost down. my father says if i bring it to a shop, i will be paying a lot of "overhead". he wants me to find someone to do it "on the side". any opinions or suggestings will be greatly appreciated. thanks

the only suggestion would be to keep asking around- everyone and anyone you see
