Anybody go to Mid America Motorplex

I was wondering how many Blue Oval guys in the Nebraska chapter go to Mid America Motorplex to watch the races.

I go about every Friday to watch the street drags. Alot of guys I go to school with drag down there so I come to watch plus my woman loves watching the Mustangs battling.

Its located in Pacific Junction, Iowa about 15 min outside of Omaha. Its a 1/8 mile track. It costs $5 to watch on Fridays or $20 to race. Its a great time for not alot of dough. Here is there website.

I didn't realize that they had a drag strip there, I knew about the race course. Sounds like fun. I used to go to Scribner back in the mid eighties. Pretty cheap at $20 to race. I know it's pricey to race on the road coarse. Nice to hear from ya' grease, it's been a while!

It is like 5 minutes from the house. I want to try and make it down there soon. See how the ol' mustangs and chebbies like suckin' down some diesel soot.

I went a couple Fridays ago and there was about 6 diesels racing there.

One race a guy in a F-250 beat a Cummins diesel Ram by a good margin.

I'd like to take the '06 down the track just once, just to see what she'll do.

What did the F250 and cummins look like? I know a couple of guys that go down once in a while. I am talking to the guy with the quickest PSD in the country about stopping down on a Friday night in June for some runs. He is originally from IA and will be stopping to visit family after a DHRA event.

Pat.. Let me know when you would want to head down that way and perhaps I can go out that night too.

The Ram was white with a extended cab and the F250 was black I think it was 6.0 diesel by what the badges look like.

I allways see a white Powerstroke that runs around Council Bluffs with stickers on the sliding window that sounds quick. His turbo is louder than heck so I think its moded. The guy tried racing me but im no fool.
