1999 lightning motor in a 36 truck

I am in the process of building a 1936 ford that will be powered by a 1999 lightning motor and trans. Is there a dress up kit for the motor?I want to go to some shows and those cars have lots of chrome.

Thanks

Now that sounds like it will be an awsome streetrod. Chickenears has quite a selection of chrome and billet parts.

Talking 1999 lightning

What are my proformance options on this motor. I went to fordracingparts.com and they state a performance package is coming soon! Is there something I can do to really pick this motor up.

Thanks

There are tons of performance add-ons for the Lightning. Swapping to a +4 pound pulley for the supercharger and getting a handheld programmer will add another 50 or 60 HP. On the other end of the scale is to replace the stock Eaton blower with a more efficient twin screw to add 200 or more HP. In between are headers, cams, heads, etc.

You can go with an electric fan if you want to, but it is not required. Here are a few links oferring performance parts for the Lightning motor.
