Coolest Teacher

What subjects do the coolest teachers teach? I would have to say that most of the answers will be the tech teachers. At our school we have 1 good one and 1 bad one. The bad one teaches the automotive class (sadly) I dont think the guy knows how to even change his oil.

The good one teaches woodworking and building trades, this one knows something. For the first 90 min of class each day all year long for building trades class we go outside and work on our house. We started with nothing but a pile of lumber, put the first story walls up, sheet'ed them, put the floor truses up, then the floor sheeting, then the 2nd story walls, then the roof, we got out of school for the whole day to shingle it, now were just finishing up the drywall. Pretty soon siding and paint. Anyone else have any programs like that?

Once we get it finished they take it and move it to a lot when someone buys it.

Oddly enough, all the cool teachers i've had usually teach history. They're usually not very hard on grading and they like to give you an uderstanding of what happened, instead of forcing you to memorize things and not understand them.

my drafting/engenering teacher is, in my opinion, a cool teacher. he seems boring to other kids, but you just have to get to know him. he knows a lot about vehicles, buildings, all of that cool stuff that you do. im in the second year course, where we spend all our time just chilling and discussing stuff. all the first years actually draw things, but we have only drawn 2 things all year.

I agree with the history teacher thing, my very favorite was one. But he wasn't just a teacher, he was a farmer all his life (teenager- 55 or 65). Man the storys he could tell. We got him nominated for TEacher of the year for the parish, tri-parish (news channel thing), and then state teacher of the year. Then they made his assistant principal, principal, then now i think he works fo the state.

- He decorated his room with baseball bats, old army model airplanes dogfighting. Model John Deere Combine harvesting rice, cadillac hubcaps, etc. it was awsome the stoies he could tell.

best teacher ive got is a AP math teacher all the stuff that the other teachers make you learn just wastes your time, all the ideas she applies to real life situations. She like to ride atvs so alot of the stuff she teaches she applies to atv design.
