Westin Safari Bar with 100 Explorer ProComp Lights
OK heres my scenario and questions.
I want to put a Westin Safari Bar with a pair of Explorer ProComp 100w lights on the front end of my '99 2Dr Explorer Sport. The catalog and website both say they only make one to fit an '01 and newer 2Dr Sports. There is one available for the '95-'99 4Dr Explorer.
Will the Westin Safari bar for the 4Dr fit my 2Dr Sport???????
I'm sure there's a reason for it but the fog lights are turned off when I put my Hi-Beams on which I don't like. I want to add the ProComp lights to compensate for my lack of fog lights. I'm looking at the 100w lights because someone commented to me that the 55w lights aren't really that bright. I won't use them all the time, just in rural areas when I'm using my high-beams.
Shoulds I go with the 100's or 130's?

Al's contagious!
I think it goes....
"wrapped up like a deuce, another runner in the night." but we'd have to ask Springstien to be sure!
Cowboy, don't worry about the legal stuff. This type of thing impacts the manufacturer of the vehicle not the owner. You can add as many lights as you want and turn them on when u want but if it impacts other vehicles abilities to drive safely then u may get fined , or run into by a 'Blinded by the light " driver. Common sense, dim your brights for on coming traffic and make sure you headlites are aimed properly.
Can you still aim headlites on new vehicle? Newest thing I ever owned was a '90, now I feel old again, better sit down and rest.

The standard headlight is 55w right?
I'm wondering what it's going to be like with these lights...am I going to be really amazed?
I've had other auxillary lights on my vehicles in the past and was only mildly impressed.
I think I know that song.......

lights
in my brothers 1969 chevelle we had some light aircraft landing lights in the high beam spots , they were 150 watt units , bright was an understatement, i've had several sets of bosch light kits on my vehicles and the 100 w lights are very bright , the units you have on order are they a driving light or a spot light

OK Keith.....
We all understand that you're kinda new around here, but it has come to my attention that you have not done any singing so far.
You probably missed the part in the membership guidelines that states; "As a member of the Ontario Chapter you are required to sing in at least one post per month."
If you need to better understand what's being said here, read this.... http://unmuseum.mus.pa.us/babel.htm
Sky pilots are also encouraged to read the link.
Can you understand what I'm saying?
