Here we go again... Dead Truck!
Well, even though I've put over 2,000 miles on this '99 truck myself (before I bought it) it now appears that the 230,000 accumulated miles have caught up with moi!
This morning, as I pulled into the corporate parking garage, I smell something "burn" and saw some smoke and opened up the hood to see yellowish, greenish coolant all over the engine and draining out the bottom. I put some water into the reserve as it seeped out almost as fast as I could put it in...
Truck now sits in Mahwah Ford awaiting final pronouncement... blown seal, faulty water pump, cracked engine block...
Is this something to be expected from an "old" truck, or have I just bought a "lemon" ?

It's hard to say, but I did sense a bit of sluggishness over the last couple of days... but it really didn't strike me as anyting wrong until I saw the smoke, smelled the burn and saw a puddle of truck "****" under the under carriage....
Do You all get a slight sickening feelings when this happens... or does it go away when you've owned a truck for over a month...
