Blue Book Value
I have a '75 Ford F250 4WD. It has 75,000 miles, Manual trans, Power Steering, NO A/C, 12.00 x 33 tires. I'm trying to find a blue book type of value, but can't find any listings for these "classic" years.
I believe that the California DMV has been overcharging me for years for registration and my first job is to find a legitimate value because part of the registration is based on value. Thanks for your help

how much are they charging? I live in Alameda CA and DMV charges about $130 a year for my '73 truck. Most of that goes to weight fees since as a truck it is considered a commercial vehicle. Value is realy up in the air as the insurence people want to give you less than the rig is worth in a wreck and you and I know what it will really cost to replace one of these even if we could actually FIND one.

Mine was $129. All that for a vehicle that sits idle 99% of the time. In fact, I only went 420 miles between smog checks last time. I had a friend that was only paying about $150 per year on a late model Dodge 3/4 ton 4WD. That is what got me thinking that we are being ripped off. I'm going directly to DMV now and have them provide me with the value that they use.
