What kind of music do you listen to?
Trying to get this forum going a little more.. lol
Anyway, i'm really into The Dave Matthews Band and System of a Down at the same time (weird mix, eh?).
Whats your favorite band? anyone else into dmb (i doubt many people here would like them, but worth a shot..) or soad?
I guess this thread is to get people to try different genres out and listen to different types of music, make suggestions of bands that you like and maybe we can all find something new that we'll like!

Hmmm... It all depends really!
I seem to go through stages. I am currently into a classic rock stage. Sabbath, Kiss, CCR, you know the rest. I think mainly because theres only a select few new country songs I can stand to listen to. Most new country sounds too much like N sync (Rascal Flatts)
When I do listen to country though, It's mostly older stuff. Like late 70's through the mid-late 90's. George, Garth, Tracy Lawerence, John Anderson, Conway, Waylon, Willie, David Allan, Clint Black, Chris Ledoux, Hank, Mark Chesnutt, Sawyer Brown, Shenandoah, .... They all rock my world.
When I'm tired of both, I love to listen to Rodney Carrington. I've got all of his CDs including his greatest hits and I laugh every time I hear him. Love to see him live sometime.

favorite genre would be grunge late 80s - early 90s, also like death metal, classic rock and souther rock, my all time favorite band is nirvana with sublime in a close second, the list goes on with rage against the machine, hatebreed, heaven shall burn. i like pretty much any new rock except for what i call whinny rock[linkin park, yellow card, modest mouse,] i just cant stand slow whinny rock.
the ONLY and i stress ONLY rap i listen to is imortal technique, just becouse of the message, hes not rapping about hoes and bling bling.
i live in an area infested with rap, hip hop, jungle music whatever you wanna call it, i cant stand any of that crap.
i will admit nothing beats rolling around in the loud old beater with the windows down blastin skynard.
